What counts as one optimization?
One optimization = one resume scored against one job description. You can re-run the same resume against different jobs as many times as your plan allows.
Which pass should I get?
One-Shot ($12) is for one job: tailor your resume, get a cover letter, download it — 3 scans in 7 days. The 30-Day Sprint ($29) is a month of applying: 15 scans and 2 mock interviews. The 90-Day Job Hunt ($59) covers a full job search: 40 scans, 6 mock interviews, and saved history. All are one-time — no subscription.
What if I need more interview practice?
Add 2 mock interviews to any plan — even Free — for $9. One-time, good for 90 days. An interview only counts once you answer a question, so a closed tab never costs you one.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes — cancel anytime from your account (Manage subscription). You keep access through the end of your current billing period and aren't charged again after that. No retention calls, no hassle.
Do you store my resume or sell my data?
No data sold, ever. When you optimize or build a resume, the text is processed to generate your results and isn't kept on our servers afterward — we store only your scores and usage history. Mock interview materials (including the resume you provide for that session) are stored only to produce your report and are automatically deleted about 90 days later. On institutional plans, student data belongs to the student and is never sold or used for ads.
Do refunds work?
Passes: full refund within 7 days if you haven't used more than 2 scans. Interview add-on: full refund within 7 days if you haven't used any of its interviews. Pro: we refund the most recent month if you cancel within 7 days of billing. Email us and we'll make it right.
Does this actually work for trades and technical roles?
That's what it was built for. Forged was designed by career-tech educators whose students go to work at steel mills and manufacturing plants. We understand NCCER, OSHA, AWS D1.1, EPA 608, and ASE — generic resume tools don't.
